When it comes to wardrobe shopping, you don’t have to blow your whole budget if you shop smart.4/8/2018 I love thrift shopping, online shopping, retail shopping…but that’s me. Some of my friends hate shopping. If you shop smart it can be easy and most of all enjoyable. Growing up in Upstate, NY, my mom took me thrifting because we were on a budget. We constantly frequented consignment stores. There's no shame in bargain hunting, no matter what your financial status. My money-saving techniques not only allow me an expansive wardrobe, it gives me variety in my closet. Some of my favorite wardrobe finds are designer pieces that have cost me under $20.
Buffalo Exchange, for example, has been popular across the nation as a well-known clothing exchange store organized by stylists. These stores have standards and do not accept junk or outdated styles, so, what you will find there is actually pretty amazing. Labels have a lot to do with the clothing that is accepted. Many carry major brands like Channel, Versace, Lululemon and more! When faced with high priced retail fashion, while trying to professionally dress yourself, it doesn't take an unlimited budget to look amazing. I believe every woman deserves to look her best regardless of her financial situation. I like to help people of all ages shop for stylish threads and have fun along the way. I find that consignment shopping, on top of having amazing brands and styles at great prices are also the most sustainable way to shop! If you live in LA you should check out Crossroads Trading Co., Wasteland, and Buffalo Exchange or in Phoenix- My Sisters Closet.
