How To Find the Perfect Pair of Jeans

There is beauty in simplicity. Simple things are versatile in their nature. I would say that denim is one of the most simple, basic, and neutral fabrics that create a palate for designing much more. Denim jeans are iconic and can be worn in so many different ways. They are easily dressed up or down.

Some of my favorite jeans include rag & bone, Levi’s, Joe’s Jeans, One Teaspoon, and honestly, the list goes on. When you buy a good pair of jeans that fit great, they could last you a life time. You know that satisfying feeling when you slip on a pair of jeans that snugs you just perfectly in all of the right places? It’s like the equivalent of finding the perfect little black dress. Jeans will forever be a staple in any closet and it is necessary to have a favorite pair, or if you’re like me, a few.

But if you're like most women, you find jeans shopping stressful. In fact, most women will try on an least 20 pairs when shopping for jeans. But you can steer clear of this with a few simple tricks. To start you should focus on fit, not labels. Unfortunately, there is no universal sizing chart for designers to abide by and you may wear a size 8 in one line of jeans and a 12 in another. Don't stress about it! Keep in mind: Women very frequently have a range of three sizes when it comes to the different items in their wardrobe." When in doubt, grab a minimum of two different sizes to take into the dressing room. My other favorite trick is to look for a darker wash. Jeans with a darker wash are more flattering and look more polished if you want to dress them up with a blazer.
