Cotton and Linen in the Workplace

We’ve all had busy days at work where the list seems to keep piling on. That’s why it’s important to find outfits that you will feel comfortable in all day. I also believe that if you are wearing an outfit where you think you look good, it will in turn make you feel good and probably have a better day at the office. Rocking a great workplace outfit can make you feel ready to rule the world. You’ll be able to feel like you can deal with anything. But a great business outfit still has to be office appropriate. For example, are shorts proper office attire? Maybe it’s okay to wear a pair of longer, more conservative shorts to work on casual Friday, but I would air on the conservative side until you’re sure that it’s alright. The same goes for interviews and meetings with new clients. First impressions can say a lot about someone and affect certain opportunities. For that reason, business skirts and pants are my go to. Cigarette pants, longer fitted skirts, and office blazers are my favorite office go-to’s.
